Donna Milner was born to be a writer. After high school, she enrolled in a Creative Writing class. The professor was so taken with her first writing assignment that he demanded that she read it to the class. When she refused, he went on to read the piece. The embarrassment of her soul being exposed to the entire class was such a devastating experience that she never returned to school. She went on to become a successful Graphic Designer, Web Developer, and Copywriter, publishing only one short story in the next 30 years. (Lack of confidence is a terrible thing.)
Maturity has now overtaken self-conscious fear and her true identity as a writer and author has come to fruition. With the support of her amazing husband, Bobby, she has now published two books.
Yankee Donna was born and raised on the south side of Chicago; Bobby, redneck hubby and best friend, grew up in the sticks of East Texas. After seven years in Southern California, the Milners relocated to the mountains of Colorado where Bobby was offered a travel job as a solar electrician. They hit the road in 2016 and never looked back.
Today, Donna is a freelance writer and designer, working on her next novel in her spare time.
